When Legendary German radio host Winfrid Trenkler went looking for a person or group to headline the WDR radio, 10 year Jubilee Concert in Cologne, Germany, of all the hundreds of performers that he could of hand picked, he choose American synthesist Michael Garrison. The tape machines were rolling that warm August evening and the results were amazing. Michael Garrison "Live" Volumes 1 and 2 were voted number 2 best album of the year, the 1996/97 Schwingungen radio polls Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands. Songs on Volume 1 include Arrival the opening song and a previously unreleased title, Departure, Rise of the Earth-Star, Synthation Flow, and Visions of the Aquasun

Songs on volume two include Beyond the Cosmic Horizon, Airborn, Escape, Theme
to the Earth-Star, Crystal Moon, and Everybody's Warrior , which opens with a
stirring adaptation of Johann Sabastian Bach's Tocatta and Fugue in D minor.

These discs are one of Skip Murphy and my favorite MG artworks. In this live setting, you capture the magic spell that Michael  cast with his playing, and the resultant enthusiastic audience response. This was obviously a peak creative and performance period for Michael. If you are looking for an introduction to Michael Garrison, look no further.
